Templates

I was running 1.94 build 8 and when publishing results only got this
message. "Versions 1.94 and later need a new template file format -
this looks like an old one - your HTML may look a little odd - use the
files in the templates folder as examples - if you need help post a
message to the SUG." I have upgraded to 1.94 build 17 and still get
the message for only results publishing?

Hi,

The publishing templates and styles changesd with 1.94, there is a message
about it in the Sailwave version history. The message is telling you that
you are using an old style or template that will need a tweak. I suspect
you have file in the my templates ot my styles folder. If you are HTML/CSS
confident, have a look at the current templates/styles installed by Sailwabe
and tweak your own, or if not, point me to an example of your results on the
website in your style and I'll create a template/style for you. This is a
once-only change and I spologise for the disruption.

Colin

Colin,

Here is a link to an example of an old style I created:

Can it be converted to the new XML version?

Thanks,
Kett

The new system always uses separate tables for fleets (for various food
reasons), so the closest I can get is this:-

www.sailwave.com/results/e2.htm

However I just realsised that if I use h4 instead of h3 for the fleet=x bits
I can get exactly what you want. Let me know.

The style is also attached - save to program files/sailwave/styles - can I
inlcude it in the next release please...?

Thanks, Colin!

It looks great! I don't mind the separate fleet tables. However, can
I omit the word 'Fleet' after each fleet name? I see that it will
change with the column name, but I can't seem to omit it altogether.
Perhaps a '(none)' option in the 'Rename column...' dialog?

Also, can I omit the Contents list at the top of the page? I like the
links for the web, but it would be nice to have an option for results
that are to be printed.

You are welcome to include the style in the next release. Please call
it 'Southern' or 'SYC1' - or change the colors a bit and call it
whatever you like! I was looking to create something with more impact
for the Internet and to coordinate with our web site. I confess that
the design was inspired by the ISAF web site results for the Athens
2004 Olympics...

Thanks again,
