hi ,

according to the ISAF rules for 2005-2008, if there is a series score
tie between two or more boats, each boat's race scores shall be listed
in order of best to worse, and at the first point where there is a
difference the tie shall be broken in favour of the boat with the best
scores shall be used. however, in the sailwave software, the score tie
between two boats is still using the excluded scores. what is wrong
with the sustem? can you give me some suggestions?

Have you ticked 'included discards' in error?

This is in the scoring system under the series scoring tab.
In the Series Tie Resolution section, the first box should not be ticked as this is for Windsurfers

From your comments, you only need to tick the one box for Apply ISAF App A 8.1

Note for Colin
The tick box for App B could perhaps be moved to the last option to avoid confusion
also follow convention of A comes before B?? :wink:
