Still would like to know E% & C% meanings,<

E% is your elapsed time expressed as a percentage of the winners elapsed time.

C% is your corrected time expressed as a percentage of the winners corrected time.

They are just useful relative indicators of performance. When fiddling around with ratings they are especially useful. When using establilshed ratings they are useful to see how cohesively the fleet is sailing - i.e. what the spread is in %. If you put a distance in the race detail you’ll get an average speed column as well - as long as you’re not using laps in the results.

Browsing the values across races gives you an indication of how well you’re doing against the winner or another boat. In general I find they give an easily gleaned handle on how boats are doing in general. Trying to glean information from absolute times, especially across races of different lengths is not as easy IMO.
