Hi
I contacted a virus recently on my computer and had to
download the newer version of Sailwave
Previously did not have any problem sending our club’s
results to the RYA Website but
Now unable to send and the following errors occur:
C\DOCUMENT\OWNER\LOCALS~\Temp\Webb7c.dir00\sailwave.exe.mdmp
C\DOCUMENT\OWNER\LOCALS~\Temp\Webb7c.dir00\appcompat.txt
Andy Wibroe at the RYA believes this is a Sailwave programme
problem

What version were you using previously and what is the version you have just installed?

I am now using 2.2 Build 6, the previous
was I think 2.2 build 2
I send our results to the RYA via the
‘Scipts’ programme
It is to help towards the RYA’s PY handicapping
system

Not being in the UK, I don’t use the RYA returns facility. I was hoping some UK SUG user would have come in on this by now. (Huw ?)
I’m not aware of any change to he facility from build 2 to build 6.
From your error messages - is it correct that you are on Windows 7?
Could it be a matter of permissions - are you logged on as an administrator?

I tried a while back - exceedingly painful process IME - and the RYA still wanted an annual return! Then the system broke, so I gave up.
Anyone (in UK) care to say what it's like to use these days?
