I have created a throw-out "schedule" how can I tell if it is really
throwing out and which scores?

The difference between the total & nett columns is the value of the throwouts

The race results that are in brackets are the ones thrown out

If you are still not sure, set up a simple 3 boat, 3 race series with one discard & each finishing with a 1st, 2nd & 3rd

If you cannot see any results with brackets, have a look at Global Options & click on the Code/Discard_Formatting tab
