Within our Regatta we will have a Gate operating to halt competitors in
the event of shipping being in close proximity while they cross the
Brisbane River. Some Regattas see no boats stopped and others see
around a quarter of the competitors stopped. A Committee Boat will be
taking the time they stop a competitor and again the time the cross the
temporary Finish/Start line when it is safe to proceed.
Is there an easy way to enter these times (for some boats only)and
enter the final finish times through the sail number wizard and have
sailwave deduct the time halted from the overall time?
If you take the finish time of all the boats at the gate. Then you can use the accumulated elapsed time feature to score the regatta.

Thankyou for your reply.
I was trying to make as little work for the committee boat at the
gate and there are sometimes only 2 or 3 boats stopped at the gate.
Having him take all the boats times as well as looking out for
shipping would add a lot more work.
I suppose he doesn't have to take the times of the boats not stopped
and I can enter their finish and start times as both being say 12:00.
