I frequently create a time difference sheet for all boats in a
class/fleet when racing. I normally use Excel.
The sheet has a list of competitors and handicaps down the side.
Across the table is a list of elapsed times for my boat in hh:mm
format. For all the other boats there are time differences between our
finish time and their time in mm:ss format. This allows us to see
where we think we are relative to the other boats when we finish
without waiting for results.
Is this something that Sailwave can do? I have had a look through the
messages posted here but have found no mention of it. I am quite new
to using the software.

Hi Gareth,
Not by design, but it occurs to be that if you create a series of races
whereby everybody has the same elapsed time, say all 1:00 in R1 and all 1:30
in R2, you should be able to score the series and then select to display BCE
to get what you want - ish - try it. Possibly can also be used for pursuit
races.
