Hi, We have both a 1% and a 3% time penalty that are applied against the elapsed time. How can time penalties be applied? I can only see place penalties - not time penalties. As a side note the 1% time penalties is a voluntary penalty taken for infringements of the RRS and its cut down a lot on the number of protests in large regattas.

Currently the only way to apply time penalties is manually,
unfortunately.
Question - are the time penalties applied to the elapsed time or
the corrected time?
Any time penalty calculation functionality in a future version of
Sailwave should allow for positive and negative time penalties as
well as percentage values. Protest committees have been known to
award redress by saying a finish time / elapsed time is reduced by
a value, most often as rewarding a competitor for standing by
another who is in difficulty.
