Updating ratings in series from rating files.

Hi,

One of the goals of Sailwave was that a series is portable - you can send it
to somebody else to score and get the same results - all the info needed is
in the series - none of it is in an ini file or in a rating file etc. This
also means that series are historically safe - rescoring an old series does
not affect the results WRT new rules and ratings.

The new tick box (previously mentioned) to auto update ratings based on the
ratings files when scoring, breaks this goal and in fact I have fallen over
it a few times myself when testing on older series. Its dangerous. I've
backed off from it and instead put a button on the rating system tab to
manually update the ratings in the loaded series based on the selected
rating system and the values in the rating files. This is a lot safer,
meets the goal of changing rat sys for rescoring to see the difference
between say ISAF, USSAPN and Texel, but involves a button press to actually
update the ratings.

I like the portable/historically-safe goal and wish to keep to it.

1.44 beta 4 almost ready.

Regards,
Colin J
