Uploading csv file

I did it! I uploaded a CSV file with competitors, boatnames, class, USPN, and windratings, and a personal handicap as the final wind rating.

I can’t figure out how to repeat it. At first I was getting access denied then I made a "read only " file, but I did it by just following along on sailwave. Now I want to upload a series but I get nothing.

I can’t even find the “how do i” posts on sailwave.com. I will cointinue to stumble through but damn it is frustrating.

The first thing to do is to make sure your csv file is closed. If
you are using Excel to manage the csv file, then Excel will deny
another application access. Also you must set out the csv file with
the column headings in row1, and it helps if those headings are the
same as the sailwave column headings, i.e. don’t have any title rows
etc above the columns of data.
Once the file is closed then go to the import series from a csv
file, select the csv file you wan to import from, then match the
fields in the csv file to the sailwave fields.

Thanks so much, I’ll get this eventually.
