Uploading files unto club website

For some strange reason, I am now unable to upload anything except a blank page to my club website from my home laptop.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

usually means that the tick boxes to publish a
series summary and/or individual race tables are not ticked when
publishing

having checked there are boxes ticked, I am still failing to upload anything except (I think) a blank page. I get a message saying failed to upload page to …(club address)

Hi Pauline

I'd publish first as a file, and check the resulting htm file looks good, then I'd check the ftp settings in the global options. Try using those settings in an external ftp client and see if they work ok.

cheers

its not uploading anything then - thats a real
error message saying the upload failed. check the ftp info in the
global options ftp tab and if it looks ok retype the password and try
again. if it still doesn’t work try logging into the ftp site using
explorer or another ftp client to check the info you are using is
correct.

I
had the exact same problem about two months ago. It worked fine from my
laptop but then stopped working even though I had not changed anything. I
found that the same file would upload when transferred to another computer
first or when using firezilla. After several days of trying everything I
could think of to fix it, it just started working again. I’m a
techie and a little embarrassed to say I have no idea whatsoever what happened,
but I’m happy it started working again.

Hurray! Many thanks to everyone who has made suggestions to help with my problem.

I tried typing in th server name again in global options-although it looked OK - and it worked!
