I tried running it from the download file, the from the desktop with the same result. The Readme file says I should go to the tools directory and run wineinstall but it doesn’t work from there.
Hmmm, I wonder if it's possible to set up a separate group for Mac & Linux issues?

I have sailwave running but back to the font issue I had last time I tried this.

Re: [sailwave] Re: Mac Help?
Andrew, how did you get wine to install? I tried and kept getting an error that it was in the wrong directory. In an effort to keep this mac talk off he air waves for the rest of the group, you can email me directly at shudson@pathcom.com.

In your ‘home’ folder ("/Users//" resp. “~/”) in the hidden folder “.wine”.
You can get into (even hidden) folders in the Finder by pressing Shift+Command+G and entering the path, for example “~/.wine”.

Can you try doing the Shift+Command+G and entering the “~/.wine” and tell me what you get? That sounds like the same folder as Linux uses. If it is, I can tell you how to fix the font problem.
Thanks for the help, but I'm still confused and very frustrated. Our event ID is 1035. I tried getting Sailwave to upload to that ID but got nowhere. The location of the results is at : http://www.twsc.ca/racing/wed_results/twc-wed-results.htm.

The "sailwave folder" publish option actually uploads the results
to sailwave so you need to enter a filename not a URL - looking at
the post that was added to teh test event I would say that is what
you are doing (specifying a URL).
If you want to publish the results to your own website - do that
as usual and add content to the event posting at the results.
However there is not option to auto post an update content in that
case.
It's all WIP... some better facilities coming.

Hi Colin,
Thanks for the help, but I'm still confused and very frustrated. Our event ID is 1035. I tried getting Sailwave to upload to that ID but got nowhere. The location of the results is at : .

Nick, I added new content with a tag of
“results” and containing a link to your results. the tags create

If you now want to post race reports etc - add
content with a title like “Race 2 race report” and tag it with
“News” or “Updates” or “Reports” etc and a new menu item will
appear for them. You can upload photos and include them using the
rich text editor ().
The event menu is totally under user control.
