Colin/everyone else,
Wondering if you could possibly help shed some light on a slight sailwave issue I've got. Recently got a new computer running Windows 7 Home and have loaded sailwave on. All works ok, except that I cannot upload files to my clubs ftp site via my wifi/internet. I know that I have all of the correct details entered into the global options FTP tab as I am able to access the same ftp site through windows explorer and upload that way on the new computer. Plus the same details worked on my old PC. Internet works fine also.
When I follow the procedure to publish results it gets as far as the window saying "connection established" but then seems to timeout and fail everytime.
I have tried uninstalling sailwave and reinstalling. I have checked in my Anti Virus firewall software (Bullguard) that sailwave has access to the outside world and it does.
Is there anything else that could possibly be causing a problem that I should check out? I am falling a bit behind in my club results so would like to get on top of this problem but have exhausted all of my computer knowledge.
Has anybody else experienced such a problem?
Thanks in advance.
Chris
I had this issue with my landline internet connection, but not the wireless. I do recall needing to undo some firewall accesss as mentioned from another post. Then again, we soon changed the who supplied the land line ISP, new one worked fine, dropped wireless, this maybe why I am not remembering which issues it was. I could also look at coffee shops etc too.

Thanks everyone, I think it was the firewall in my router… (had tried windows firewall and the other anti-virus one) it seems to be working now.
