Using Byron handicap system

We use a mix of Byron, one design, IRC in a series, I have entered Byron under a PY handicap rating, every time I do the results it gives a wrong handicap rating for the Byron rates. Also even though each class is specified to use the correct rating, it will not mix Byron and IRC just produces results on one or the other.

Hi Nick - would it be possible for you to share your sailwave (.blw) file with me so I can see what you have set up

Hi Nick,

As Jon asked, if you share your Sailwave.BLW file we will be able

to see what is going on. Also it would be useful to have your
rating file that contains the Byron ratings and a copy of the
SI’s.

Kind regards,

Huw

Hi Jon

I have had a look in quiet moment without sailors beating me over the head and found one of the boats in the PY class had been given the wrong scoring system and it was messing up all the other scores. Seems to be ok now. I just use the normal PY ratings and it seems to work for Byron.

Thanks you for answering.

Nick
