Sailwave with Buddy Systems
Hi Mark
Have a look at the Publish Team Prizes
option.
This way you can set up a buddy team of 2
It’s a bit restricted in the options but
might get you further than you are now.
I have used this in a regatta &
written the ‘team scoring’ SIs around what Sailwave can do.
Not for the purist but the competitors
were happy enough
Regards
Ralph

Subject: [sailwave] Using Sailwave
with Buddy Systems
The B14 fleet - like many others - uses a buddy system
where one of
the fleet hotshots teams up with a back marker. The buddy series
result is then calculated using the combined score.
Is there anyway to do this in sailwave. I thought of establishing
each buddy team as a fleet of 2 - but I couldn’t think of anyway to
combine the individual race results of the two boats to get a combined
score.
has anybody run a buddy system through sailwave?
Mark
