v1.43 Removal of an entire race from a series.

Hi,

How do I remove a race from a series. I added one race to a series by mistake and I also want to be able to remove a race that was scheduled but never held. I cannot find a command that will let me ‘remove race’. How do you suggest I might be able to do that.

Hi David,

Click in one of the cells of the race in question - this will make sure that it is the ‘active’ race. Then choose ‘Edit’ from the menu bar and ‘Delete Race…’ from the drop-down menu.

You should then get presented with a ‘Delete Races’ dialogue which will allow you to choose the appropriate race(s) to delete.

David, personally, I would leave the race in the series to show that it was not sailed. Sailwave ignores races that do not have results. What some clubs do is add a short comment in the race date or time and publish the race dates/times. e.g. http://www.mumblesyachtclub.co.uk/results/ch200204001.htm. CJ.
