Hi,

I am evaluating SailWave. I have an event with 5 classes (4 PHRF, 1 One
Design). PHRF Classes A, B, & C sail a 24 mile course. Class D sails a 15
mile course. How do I get SailWave to correctly calculate corrected time
for all the classes in the event?

Hi Bill,

As you have found out there is currently an assumption within Sailwave that
all fleets sail the same course. When I originally created Sailwave I
envisaged that users would use different series for fleets that sailed
separate courses because they can all be loaded into the Sailwave desktop at
one time but the tendency is, as you have done, to mix fleets sailing
separate courses. Clearly I need to do something about it. I'll tweak
something such that you can set a race distance for each fleet ASAP.
Announcements of tweaks are usually made initially on the user group e-group
so it's worth joining and keeping an eye out for changes you are interested
in. Sailwave is still fairly new and there is lots to do... thanks for the
feedback.
