v37

hi colin,

I just took a drive through V37 and have some questions/comments:

- is there a way to turn off the statistics bar? It may be handy and not take
up too much space on my desktop at
home but I think it will eat up too much space on my laptop screen out in the
field.

- Did you ever come up with a way to get rid of the Laps column in the
individual published race results?
Is this possible in the style sheets or template?

- Did you ever come up with a feature to add multiple races (days in a long
distance race) times and put them into
a combined column. I know that you were planning to do this for Rick White and
did not see any indication
that this was competed yet.

- In reading Ussailing Web page, it appears that Darline wants race wind speeds
reported as the actual wind,
not as a range. It would be cool if we could enter the actual average which
Sailwave could then convert to the
Beaufort range to select the correct wind enabled handicap. For the published
results, print the actual average
wind speed, and the Bf range for each race.

Thanks,
scott

Hi Scott,

No, but I could do it easily; I'll add it to the list. NB: it's width is
adjustable; just make it very narrow for now by dragging the RHS.

I know how to do it but not done it yet. I'll move it up the list. To be
honest the template/style stuff took about six zillion times longer than I
expected and everything else has taken a dive.

Not yet but Rick wants this for the Key Largo Steeplechase in Dec and I
promised it to him back in April I think, so I intend to have something done
by the time of this event. It may not be pretty at first...

She talked to me about this and other things like time formatting. I intend
to tweak things to be more compliant with what she needs when I can.

Colin
