VERSION 2.25.1 BETA Installation

Hi all,

I have successfully installed 2.25.1 beta onto my Win 10 notebook, but I get stuck on my Win 10 desktop, with an error message initially stating that I cannot change unwise.exe, after changing unwise.exe to unwise.exe.old I get an error stating that I don’t have ‘access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this installation from an administrator account.’ … but I am logged in as an administrator.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Rob

I have installed on my openSUSE Tumbleweed [fully patched] Linux system under WINE 3.1 and briefly tested with no problems so far.

Over the weekend I plan install and text on my Linux Mint 18.3 system.

Hi Rob,

I had no problems on any my of Windows 10 systems. Perhaps try

right click on Sailwave install executable and select run as
admin. I have had install problems in the past where I am admin
but software would not install and the right click worked for me.

Do you have Teamviewer installed by any chance?

Kind regards,

Huw
