Hi Rib, yeah I noticed that too. it says if
there is a new version available but silent otherwise - its
supposed to be only silent when in auto mode when starting and
verbose otherwise - ill fix it.

Thanks
Colin,
That installed
fine and no error on checking for updates.
There is no
notification however, that there are no updates
available.

Just been trying out Sailwave 2.4.7 under openSUSE 12.1 in a
VirtualBox VM with Wine 1.3.37 installed and winetricks run to
install MS corefonts. It works.
I am testing using a Sailwave file from 2011 Sail for Gold Regatta
and noticed that there is a method missing for scoring RDGa, please
see highlighted areas in the screen captures attached; one from the
current release of Sailwave 2.4.7 and the other from 2.0.3b15 which
was the final revision for me that you came up with during the 2011
Sail for Gold Regatta. Please could you add the functionality back
in to the next release of Sailwave.
The additional RDGa method allowed the scorer to specify which races
the average was to calculated from, in either comma separated form
[1, 3, 4] or range form [1-5] or combination of both. This is
extremely useful when the Jury specify that the RDGa is for all
races before the final day of racing or for a specific selection of
races.
