I'm trying to find information about the rating system in Sailwave called
VYC Yardstick. Who is the governing body for it - failed to find on web.
Does anybodu knwo or have a link etc.

VYC stands for Victoria Yachting Council and more details can be found on
their rating system at http://www.vyc.com.au/?Page=12596
It is scheme based on the RYA & US Sailing rating systems.

What caught my eye about the VYC is a small item about mixed fleets. I cut and pasted the following of the web. Is any one doing this type of adjustment?

Mixed Class Correction Factor
The Mixed Class Correction Factor (MCCF) applies to fleets containing multihulls and monohulls or sailboards and monohulls. The MCCF is derived by dividing the sum of the 5 lowest corrected times for monohulls by the sum of the 5 lowest corrected times for the multihulls or sailboards.
The corrected time for each multihull or sailboard is now further corrected by multiplying it by the MCCF
