ok, i'm new with Sailwave, but this one has me wondering, why doesn't
sailwave save the entries/changes made to rating.txt using the sailwave
interface? why have that interface if it doesn't actaully save permanent
changes to the file?

Hi Barb,
I just had a fiddle and it seems OK - I'll do some more testing - it's
possibly associated with pressing the button to see the file as text...
Regards,
Colin

Barb,
Thanks for the feedback.
I've fixed a bug that was dumping changes made to the library between
opening the lib and pressing the 'view as text file' button.
NB: just to clarify, changes to the rating lib do not automatically
propagate to the competitor records; it'd be too dangerous, especially when
older series are opened etc. I could add helper tools to facilitate this
sort of thing though.
Regards,
Colin

thanks, Colin! i agree that helper tools to propagate changes through to
the current series being scored would be helpful.
