We have a bespoke system that includes a white sail allowance for individual races when a boat opts to sail without the spinnaker. Its at RO discretion and applies if a boat is light on crew or is a new racer in a heavy wind. You have to ask pre start, its not allowed post race. The aim is to keep boats sailing and competitive in more circumstances. We give a +4% allowance and the series result is for one boat, which may include both modes.
Is there an option to include this in sailwave?

I can’t think of a way you could do that automatically in Sailwave currently. But maybe in a future version I’m considering at the moment although I don’t understand what the 4% is applied to, is it 4% off the time or the points?
Presume if it is points it doesn’t apply to all points such as OCS etc but does it apply to redress points or when some penalty points are added etc? To automate it then it needs to know.

If it is 4% on handicap then you can simply adjust the handicap for that race.
If it is only for that race don’t tick the box circled in Orange
