Hi,
I am new to this. I am trying to score the Traveller Series Results for the Musto Skiff Class.
I have inherited some Series files from the previous scorer, and I used one of his files as a startpoint. I then amended the competitors details, deleted last years results and put in the scores from the 3 Open Meetings so far.
All of that has gone quite smoothly - except that although it has scored the series and I can sort according to their Nett Score - all the competitors are ranked as ‘1st’. How do I resolve this?

Try clicking the `Score Series’ button (or hit F9).
This will get the programme to calculate scores and do the ranking.

I had the same problem as Dan, with added twists, and fixed it, but don't understand why I got the problem in the first place.
Basically, we scored our open yesterday using Sailwave. Everyone was given 1st rank. Short of time and ideas, we noted the results were apparently in the right order and awarded the prizes.
Subsequently I manually entered the same results in the club scoring system and noticed that the Sailwave results were wrong. Ties were not broken, just listed in some random order. Luckily that didn't affect the prizes.
I entered the results in my own copy of Sailwave and looked at the scoring options. I rapidly fingered the "sort results by field after scoring" option. If I don't check that box, the series is ranked correctly with tiebreaks and sorts by rank. If I check the box, even if I select Rank, everyone ranks 1st. If I select Net Score as the field to sort by, Sailwave applies tiebreaks only - i.e. everyone ranks 1st except tiebreak losers who rank 2nd.
Anyway, that may be the answer to Dan's problem. Uncheck the box!
Is this a bug or a feature? Does anyone know how the "sort by field after scoring" feature is intended to be used?
Ian.
