I have upgraded to Win 10 and installed the latest sailwave.
I can no longer get the burgees to show in the published results
Can anyone help, please?
Rob
Hi Rob,
I have Windows 10 on 3 machines now including my Laptop which I use for scoring at events and have no problems with the burgees.
If you can’t see anything wrong after another check then if you would like to send me your blw, I’ll have a look.

Hi Rob - It depends if you are only publishing to you local PC or to the web.
If its only your local PC then you can have the burgee anywhere as long as the path to them are specified in the file name.
If you are publishing to the web then the path must be a url that anyone can access.
A simple starting point is to put the burgee in the same directory as the htm file and then you don’t have to specify a path. But you must upload the burgee to the website in the same directory as the htm file in this case.

Hi Rob - You appear to have them in the same directory as the blw - so you should be able to remove the path altogether so just swlogo66.png and WLBC Burgee 2.jpg. Make sure that they are in that directory and spelt correctly
When you publish and if you don’t see them you can right click on the page and select view page source and you should see something like this

That did it!
I did not understand the remove path statement on the web help.
I have done it before also, when I set it up, but that was a long time ago.
Cheers

Hello Jon.
Unfortunately I’m in the same position as Rob, a little confused by your application.
When I had Win 7 everything was fine, now with Win 10 everything has gone to pot. No matter what variation to insert. All I get is the words ‘event burgee’ Our Class Flag is signal ‘R’ and saved in jpg.
look forward to advice.

I am running Win 10, and can include our burgees.
The burgee files must be in the same folder as the sailwave file,
and you must only put the burgee filename in the Series Properties
Event Burgee field. If you put in the full path, even if in the
same folder, then the file is not read.

Hi JP
There is no difference with the Burgees and Windows 10 exactly the same rules apply. I am using Windows 10. When do you encounter the problem. Do you have an issue when you try to view it yourself or when others try to view on a web sites.

Mine works fine now, thank you
I made sure the burgee picture files are in the same folder as the sailwave .blw files and pointed the program to it, without any prefix for the folder, that is just the file name in the series properties window and in the event burgee and venue burgee fileds
Cheers
