won't allow me to delete an unsailed race

I am tidying up some blw files to publish on our website and trying
to delete some unsailed races in a completed series. It has let me
delete one of them, but now the option is greyed out on the edit menu
and there is no way I can seem to get it back.

what is the problem please

Hi Jenny,

you must select one competitor in just that race eg. Competitor1 and
mark him in R4. After that you can delet that race.

Hi Jenny,

Click on any result cell in the race you want to delete - Edit+Race will
enable then. If you don't do that Sailwave does not know which race you
want to delete. I need to change this because it keeps coming up. Although
at the end of the day the race needs to be known. Perhaps the delete race
menu could fan out, but with hundreds of races it would bet unweildy.

I found the solution by accident in the end.

If any cell in any race column is clicked on, including PY and
points, then deleting a race, even without any results entered is
possible.

If the cursor is for instance in a cell the helm or crew column then
delete race is greyed out.

I can see why Anders thought that it was to do with entering a result
as when you return from that action, the cursor is in a race cell.

Colin,

Didn't have to be particularly in the race I wanted to delete, since
it gives you a menu of the races to select from.
