Because of the number of viruses that are around the attachments feature has been turned off. If you wish to draw our attention to specific files it is best to do so via a hyperlink.

It is a sorry sign of the times that spammers try to post offensive emails to the list so to maintain the quality of the messages new member’s emails are checked by the moderators first (normally takes less than an hour based around UK time). If you are obviously a genuine sailwave user we will quickly change your posting properties to unmoderated. I hope you understand!

During the peak season there can occasionally be a high number of emails sent out. If you wish you can consolidate a whole day’s messages into one digest by sending a blank email to

just download WinOnX from Appstore. Install and run once before installing Sailwave.
Works for me.
